I think i'll stick to the original oldies ;-), in old books they were actually closer in time with the real information. I have seen this book also, and it has much person information that could not possibly be known now, the little details I mean, like how a person looked if there was no photo and they were still living at that time or how they acted, temper,etc. Along with the dirty details those are afraid to mention in some of the new books, or that they don't know because they have not lived the life as the old authors did. As well as all resouces noted in the book.. I like that part, it gives you places to verify the findings in it. You are right, use the book as "source" only, as with all books, including Dorothy Shaffett's book, any and all authors of them will tell you that.
