CREATED/PUBLISHED 1808-08-24 SUMMARY A Contract dividing the upper half of a 6,000-acre survey on the Ohio River between the heirs of Samuel Beall. The boundary markers and the amount of acreage allotted to each heir is noted. Beall's son Norborne received 950 acres and his son-in-law William C. Galt by right of his wife Matilda Beall Galt was given 550 acres. The right of Beall's second daughter the late Harriet Beall Maupin to a 550-acre tract passed to Richard A. Maupin by right of their daughter Matilda.
