Dec. 11, 1930, believe Western Star, Warren Co. Ohio. Reads as follows: One beautiful day on May 9, 1881 a little girl came to gladden the home of Andrew and Angeline Watkins in Lee County, Kentucky and was given the name Rosa. She grew to young womanhood in her parent's home and at the age of 18 in March 1899, was united in marriage to CHARLE MAUPIN of that place and departed her life at her home in South Lebanon, Ohio, on November 30, 1930 at the age of 49 years, 6 months, and 21 days. To this union were born four children, one son, William having preceded her to the great beyond, leaving to mourn her loss, her husband and three children, Benjamin of South Lebanon, Roy of Lebanon, and Mrs. Mollie Wilson of Norwood, besides 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church and clung to the faith all through her life, always ready to lend a helping hand. A wonderful mother and aid, One who was better, god never made. A wonderful worker, so loyal and true, One in a million, that mother was you. Just in your judgment, always right, Honest and liberal, ever upright; Loved by your friends and all whom you know, One wonderful mother, that mother was you.
