Have enough stuff on my desktop file on this Macintosh! We are loving it up here in the mountains more each day. The air is clean and crisp and there is not one drop of humidity. Some evenings I have to put a big pot of water on the stove to steam as Len starts coughing. Once there is a little humidity in the air he stops. We just love seeing all the different kinds of birds, animals and plants up here. Today we were sitting out on the front deck and a beautiful raven landed in the huge pine tree out front and started chattering. I talked to it and it seemed to respond. Then it was gone. Our little quail couples are the best to watch. They are so cute and if a cat or dog gets near they chatter and said cat or dog will make a half circle around them. I guess they are tough little beautiful birds. Well, I can go on and on about this area and how wonderful it is to be able to look out at mountain tops and the Los Padres National Forest, and hear the coyotes at night, but I'll force myself to stop.
