VA>Madison Co. KY. He died 19 Oct 1816 near St. Louis. He and Leah are buried in Franklin Co. MO. He was a Rev War soldier, being a gunsmith for the cause, as well as making guns for the War of 1812. He was present at the surrender of Cornwallis. The John Sappington Chapter, NSDAR of the St. Louis area put a DAR marker on his grave..
