I am descended from Daniel and Margaret Via Maupin through Zachariah and am attempting to go through the research to get into the DAR. I am greatly lacking in early information on Daniel, Zachariah, William Jarman Maupin, and George Willis Maupin. Primarily, I need help from someone familiar with the DAR process. Kimberly I am in DAR and you can use Daniel Maupin m. Margaret Via for your patriot ancestor. He is an approved DAR patriot ancestor. I don't know anything about Zachariah, but you can get in using Daniel if you wish.
