Is there any possibility of having a Maupin reunion in either Williamsburg, VA or White Hall (near Charlottesville, VA)? Has there ever been a combined Maupin-Via reunion? We're new to the list and are very interested in researching the Maupin/Via lines as well as visiting the associated sites. Anyone interested in doing something in Virginia? Rose Marie--There have been 3 reunions in C'ville and 1 in Wmsburg in the last 20 yrs or so. I have attended them all.They have all been planned by Dorothy Shaffett, except for the last one in C'ville which was planned by Wm Albertson. They are a huge amount of work, as I understand it, and plans must be made at least a year in advance. They have been well attended with people from CA, TX, and all over the US. Dorothy is no longer able to do it (she's in her late 80's) and Wm is not doing another one apparently, so if you would like to take it on, it would be wonderful. I would be there for sure.
