    3. I think the idea of doing a reunion in Virginia with speakers, etc. is the way to go, but it is difficult to arrange. How many of you all are in lineage societies such as the National Huguenot Society or the Manakin Huguenots? They have annual meetings and many of these societies are planning very special meetings in 2007 for the anniversary of Jamestown. Maybe we could attend one of those meetings and have a Maupin meeting at the same time? How does that sound?     3. Lisa--I'm in the Manakin Huguenots. But is the general public invited to their meetings? Even if you're a Huguenot, I don't think you can just show up at their mtgs unless you have gone through the form application process having your papers, etc. I could be wrong, though. Do you know for sure that people can just show up at the mtgs? The places where the Manakins meet is pretty small.
