Does anyone know what family the below is in? Lena Dean Maupin CHESTER, Okla. - Lena Dean Maupin, 82, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002 in Oklahoma City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Washington Avenue Christian Church of Amarillo with the Rev. Jim Shelburne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Maupin was born in Beaver County on Aug. 17, 1920, to John and Mina Evans. She married Leon Maupin on May 7, 1951, in Clovis, N.M. They resided in Canadian, Texas, until the Santa Fe Railway moved their workers to Amarillo in 1954. She moved with her daughter to Chester three years ago. She was a cook and baker for Colonial Cafeteria for 20 years and at Kids R Us Daycare for 16 years. She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Leadell Lamberson; her parents; and two brothers, Willard Evans and Frank Evans. Survivors include a daughter, Luise Maupin of Chester; a stepdaughter, Luann Dobos of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a brother, Louis Evans and wife, Veda, of Thomas; a sister-in-law, Carlene Evans of Chester; three grandchildren, Staci Armanderiz and husband, Joe, Jacob Lamberson and Joshua Maupin, all of Amarillo; several nephews and nieces; and a special cousin, Jerry Reed Acton of Lockhart, Texas.
