I am hoping that members of this list can help me with this couple. I have a fair amount of information but certainly am lacking in others. 1. Does anyone know when they moved to Henry County, VA? The first record I can find for them there is in 1786. Where were they before that? 2. When did Lucy die? She signed a daughter's marriage consent in 1801 - but I cannot find her after that. 3. Some postings say Jesse married a second time to a Sweeny. But others say that the Jesse who married a Sweeny was the son of Zachariah Maupin. Does anyone have the answer to this? 4. Also, does anyone know where/when Jesse died? The last I can find of him in Henry County is in 1816. Is there a Will or probate record for Jesse? If so, where? I will be so very grateful if anyone can answer any of these questions. Many, many thanks for your help. Jody Davis
