Hi Cousins--One thing that I've been thinking about that I want to share with you all is that at the Wmsburg Reunion, Dorothy Shaffett mentioned that the movie and book The Return of Martin Guerre is a very accurate depiction of how the Maupins lived in France. My son who's taking Reformation Europe at UVA has just finished reading Martin Guerre as one of the text books in that class. Also, my husband Jim is an amateur historian and he says that the book and movie The Outlaw Josie Wales is a good depiction of what was going on regarding the period of Quantrill.
