Hi gang, "Old" Daniel Maupin is also known as (AKA) Daniel I "Cuff" Daniel is AKA Daniel II "Tough" Daniel is AKA Daniel III I have been told that "Cuff" got his nickname from the fact that, while illiterate, he often wrote (farm) figures on his shirt cuff. Both "Cuff" and "Tough" Daniel, along with their wives, are buried in the "Cumberland View" Cemetery, near Terril Junction on US-25/US-421 South of Richmond, KY. The "Good" stones that were once in the cemetery were removed and placed around the burial lot of George Washington Maupin, in the Richmond Cemetery. The only stones left were a few field stones and the common home made stones.
