Good afternoon, While at the reunion in Charlottesville, my sister and I visited the Sandridge Cemetery and took photos of the Maupin graves there. There are many graves that are not marked with headstones, just fieldstones. According to William Albertson, this is where John Maupin and Frances Dabney are probably buried, but their graves are not marked with headstones. This is likely to be the place where Thomas Maupin's first wife Judith Cobbs is buried, also, but it is not marked either. I will be happy to send photos to anyone who cares to have copies of them. I will list the photos and information I have from reading the photos of the graves. We took other pictures at the reunion and I will list these over the next few days. We returned just this last Friday from the reunion, having traveled for a full month so we have lots of catching up to do, but will get this out as soon as possible.
