Bob, My grandmother Emma Maupin was from Putnam County, MO and she had a sister Mary, however, she would have been born in the 1870s, but I suspect this was a relative. I think she had relatives in Indiana, because Emma married a man from Indiana while living in Nebraska, and we think may have been a second cousin. I still checking this one out. Phyllis A.
