    3. Patrick, Sounds like a great idea, and I wish I could participate. I start a tour of Kosovo this month until April. Then making a move from Germany to California in May. Maybe after the dust settles in Cali. We could also map the occurence of the name Maupin, for today but also for historical data (why not start with Gabriel and Marie). I am sure it could be a very interesting source of information to guide our genealogical efforts. I have all the required equipment for such a task (mainly GIS softwares and a couple of spatial analysis tools). If anyone is interested we could organize a special task force : ) of about 5 or 6 persons to go through all the data structuring process. Maybe by next summer we could have a product available to the Maupin community ...
