She was born October 27, 1924 in Brea, Kentucky, the daughter of Jennings and Azalee(Cowan) MAUPIN. Virginia was a valued employee of Champion Paper Company until her retirement in 1974. She was a devoted member of the New Maimi Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Sandy(Mike) Baker, Robert J. Green, Kim(Rick) Graves and Tina (Ray) Goins; seven grandchildren, Mike and Nancy Baker, Stephanie Crockett, Susan Gibson, Nick Graves and Brian and Chrissy Goins; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Baker and Cody Crockett. She was preseaded in death by her parents. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of Tower 2, at Mercy North and to Dr. Harry Davin and his staff. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00p.m. Tuesday August 15, at New Maimi Church of Christ, 104 Highland Avenue, New Maimi. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 until time of service. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd Street, Hamilton is in charge of the arrangements.
