Hi William & All: John Maupin~Mary Jane Williams were my GG grandparents and we have found nothing on a Malissa Maupin. John Clyde Maupin, John's cousin, was also in the area and married Allie Graham. The Graham family has married into various parts of our family. I have never seen our John listed with a D. before getting on this list. I wonder why and also wonder if his middle name was Daniel since his daughter, my G grandma, was Mary Daniel. Also, I am hoping you can help in this other family mystery. Have you ever heard that John Maupin~Mary Jane Williams had a daughter by the name of Emma? I never heard this until getting to know a cousin from my John & Mary Jane Maupin family. John's son Tolbert, Emma's sister, told his son about her and he should know if he had such a sister. Emma married a farmer in Chickasha, Indian Territory (now Chickasha, Grady CO, OK) by the name of ? Kirkpatrick and they had 8 or 9 children. I can't find one single thing on these people since I have no dates or the first name of the Kirkpatrick. Wonder if Emma was not liked by the family as she never showed up in any old letters and records we have. Cuz Sandi
