Ronda, the house William Allen Maupin and Mary Ann Price lived in during the Civil War and until they both died is just across the street from the cemetery your toured. The street thru there is called Water Street...on some maps it is referred to as River Street. I have a brick from the fireplace and some wood from the siding. I also have pictures of Aunt Laura Maupin Lamb taken in the yard when she was quiet old. The other pictures are of Aunt Laura and I believe her daughter Nell Miller. I also have a letter from your James Allen Maupin to his brother, my great grandfather William Henry Harrison Maupin. I will be glad to type it and send it either on the list of to your e-mail addy. Just have to go thru files and find it. It's very interesting. Also have letters from WHHM to his parents William Allen and Mary Ann written during the war. He was a Lt. More later, Mary
