William, Just got back from Harrisonburg and I went to the Riverside Cemetery in Port Republic. I was able to find the graves and stones for Col. William A. Maupin and his wife Mary A. (Price) Brown ?? I took some pictures of them. His stones was broken and the top part of the stone was laying against the bottom half. Her stone was in one piece and for the most part legible. Directly in front (about 50 ft or so) of their stones were the stones of William J. Maupin (his also broken and leaning against the broken section) Now we were discussing where his wife Mary Perry was buried -- well I found evidence of a stone right beside his that looked like it was sunk into the ground (the part that was barely sticking out did not look like it was broken -- maybe just sunk) Unfortunatley, unless there is someone out there that can verify this was her grave we are at a stand still on that part. I also took a drive over to White Hall -- boy what a beautiful place, went to Mt. Moriah Cemetery a! nd stopped by the farm and took more pictures. Haven't gotten them back yet.
