I would still like to see Bettye offer her opinion. She is a writer, she is not a Maupin (by birth), but she has shown a great interest; as well as her other half - Max Gail Maupin. The intrest shown by their daughters at the reunion should also add some spice to the story. Please accept part of the writing. -- Loren <kycollja@midusa.net> {:-)> HOKC *))))) TSG, USAF, Retired >From Iola, in the rolling hills of SE Kansas
_____________________ Loren: I offered my opinion. I am flattered by your kind words, but I write fiction, and as I said, I lie a lot. Plus, I felt a little woozy Thursday and my youngest took me back to the motel. I paid less attention to what was being said at the meeting than visiting with others. I couldn't give an accurate account of what happened at the meetings. How about Bob Butler? He wrote a beautiful paper on Jesse. Thanks anyway. Otherwise, would be happy to help.
