Good Morning, Group!!! For many years I have neglected my own line working on various other lines. I have now came upon new information indicating that Jesse and Lucy went to Surry County, NC in 1778 after selling the Maupin Homeplace. Jesse next appears in Henry County, VA in 1782 on the Tax Rolls. The purpose of this Research Group is to discover just where Jesse and Lucy lived for these missing years. The Research Group would be composed of from 4-6 persons who would work together collecting and examine records and discussing their opinions as to the data that has been found. After adequate data and documents have been collected and a discussion between the members of the research group the conclusions of the findings as well as the copies of the supporting documents will be published in a booklet that will be available reasonable fee. Each person doing research will keep a log or a list of the out of pocket expenditures for the copies, postage, etc they have incurred during the research project. After the project is finished the sale of the booklets will be used to re-imburse these people for their expenses.
