I have that Bennett Maupin and Polly Burch married 3 Nov 1808, minister Athanasius Thomas, Albemarle marriage register 1806-1868 vol 6, d/o John Burch gives consent and affirms both are of age, wit John Burch. Mary is the d/o JOHN BURCH Jr and JANE EPPERSON. John Burch Sr was married to second wife Judith Maupin Epperson. Mary [Polly] is mentioned in her father's, John Burch Jr, will as being deceased and that fifty dollars to be divided [and no more] was to go to her three children. Will was written 21 June 1837 and proved January court 1838 Montgomery Co KY. Another sister, Jane Burch, was married to Carr Maupin s/o John and Frances [Dabney] Maupin who also lived in the Bath/Montgomery Co's KY.
