Wm B. Maupin was quite a character. He was married three times #1. Jane Noland had 7 children: Ruebin R., Mary E., William H., Samira Ann, Malachi Washington, Missouri, and Jasper DeCalb. Jane died on May 12, 1859. #2.Lydia Earnshaw (He married her on June 3, 1860) had 2 children: Emma June b.October 3, 1860 and Minnie b. February 12, 1863. Lydia was granted a divorce from Wm on August 16, 1864 because of desertion. #3.Mary Jane Crabtree (He married her on February 11, 1865) had 3 children: Nellie Crabtree, Leonora, and Margaret Jarncia b. August 25, 1877 in Kansas. William Bailey worked as a farmer, was a miller in 1860, owned a saw mill on the 1870 census, and was a farmer in Kansas in 1880. William had many law suites against him in Johnson Co., Kansas (he owed people money). I believe William moved to Oklahoma because he is not in Kansas in 1900 or 1910. He died in Durant on January 31, 1918. I believe Willliam Bailey is a brother to Levi Maupin my GGGrand father and a 1st cousin to John Rice Maupin. Hope this information is what you wanted. We were in Wichita, Kansas for Thanksgiving and it has taken me awhile to catch-up on all the Maupin e-mails. Let me know if you would like more. I have some more generations on Malachi, Ruebin, and Missouri Maupin. I also have more information on Levi's children. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Iertg@aol.com> To: <MAUPIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2000 5:09 AM Subject: Re: [MAUPIN-L] Re: William B.
