Richard..... I doubt that this Opal was ever in Missouri, but who knows? I have been unable to come up with her place of birth. Some of that family went to Missouri...so, maybe. This might answer my question as to why there is a period of a few years that are unaccounted for. (I thought they were just being illusive! :-)) I will look at the censuses from Missouri to see if I can find the family. Where in Missouri would I look for your Opal? Incidentally, this Opal was my grandmother.
