Is that Sandi ?? or whom? Thanks for allowing my opinion here. Susan (in San Diego) >> Hi Cousins: Thank you Susan for your reply about chatting and the subject line. I am the listowner and I have allowed some teasing around at time and have been in on it as you all know. As Cousin Phyllis said, we do not want to lose valuable members because of too much chit chat and "one liners." Here is a short guide for posting: 1. Make sure the subject line reflects your post subject. 2. Stick to genealogy and Maupin related things such as the reunion, interesting books, Bills projects, Patrick's project, etc. You may sneak in some chit chat with Maupin related subjects. 3. If a subject matter is of no interest to you, please hit delete. I reali ze we do have a lot of e-mail, tons more than on the other three lists I own and the many lists I am subscribed to. It is nothing for me to receive 200 + e-mails a day and I quickly scan them and if they don't interest me I hit delete. 4. If you have complaints, do not post them on the list. E-mail me personally and we'll handle them together. 5. All smile, hug and lets get on with our fun genealogy work. Remember, we are a family and a HUGE one, at that. There will be times when some are not pleased but you can't please everyone all the time. Best Wishes, Cousin Sandi Carter
