PS The photos are from the book "The Killer Legions of Quantrill" by Carl W. Breihan. The book does not include any information about the Maupin's other than the caption under each photo. Under the photo of Thomas F. Maupin it says "Quantrillian; settled in Texas after the war (Beshoar family papers)". Under the photo of John Maupin it says "Quantrillian; later became famous frontier lawman, from original tintype. (Beshoar family papers)".
