Breihan. The book does not include any information about the Maupin's other than the caption under each photo. Under the photo of Thomas F. Maupin it says "Quantrillian; settled in Texas after the war (Beshoar family papers)". Under the photo of John Maupin it says "Quantrillian; later became famous frontier lawman, from original tintype. (Beshoar family papers)". I know it has that in the book, but I still think this is Thompson Maupin that we are talking about. Plus, don't you think that the photo of John Rice Maupin in that book and the one that I have from the Oklahoma Historical Society are of two different men? I do. I don't think the Breihan photo is the right one. Let me know what you think. Pat
