All I know for sure, is that Elizabeth Maupin, my gg grandmother, married Sanford Power in Bath County in Dec., 1857. The marriage took place in the home of William Maupin. I know this to be true, as I found the original document in the Bath County Courthouse in Owingsville, Ky. Can any amongst you fill in the gap? Any & all possibilities would be greatly appreciated. Hi again Sandi, Can't find the reply on the Williams line at the moment but wanted to answer any way. I know a couple of years ago Williams was the biggest last name above Jones and Smith. And, yes, they are hard to find I noticed that you and I have another connection and that is the name Walker. My Sears (paternal side) married a Nancy Walker. We may uncover even more.
