Seems like there was a recent discussion regarding Armistead Maupin. There was an article in the local newspaper (Statesman Journal, October 22, 2000, Salem, Oregon) yesterday. He has a new book out "The Night Listener". He will be appearing in Portland, Oregon at the First Unitarian Church, 1011 SW 12th Ave on Wednesday 7:30 p.m. to read from his works and speak with the audience.
