William-- We were so hoping to get to come to the reunion but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. I would be very interested in getting some cancellations from White Hall, a directory, some apple butter, etc. If you could, please let me know how much I need to send you or whoever and where to send it (cash, check, charge???). My mother was a Maupin, Ida Jane Maupin Black. She died a little over three years ago and would have absolutely loved all this. She would be the first person there fore sure. Our cousins, Tommy and Clare Aycock, will be attending and representing our family. Tommy has written some amazing stories to his grandson, Cooper D, telling all about the Maupin lineage and history. He is truly a gifted writer! Be sure to connect with him there! I am very sad that we will not be able to attend and definitely plan to try to go next time. Again, I would be most interested in purchasing any souvenirs and interesting things at the reunion to share in the celebration. I realize you are very busy and I have waited until the last minute to send you this (I just kept hoping we would be able to swing it from here in Lubbock, Tx). If I have waited too long to ask this of you, I understand. You have done an amazing job, and it is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance......Amy Headley -----Original Message----- From: MAUPIN REUNION 2000 <maupinreunion@par1.net> To: MAUPIN-L@rootsweb.com <MAUPIN-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, October 16, 2000 3:12 PM Subject: [MAUPIN-L] Directions and Accommodations > Good Afternoon, Group!!! > >Sorry my first messages may not have been clear. > >I will arrive at Quality Inn either Saturday or Sunday. A tombstone color picture and small enveloped that imprinted, and cancelled will be $3.00 A regular size envelope, that is imprinted and cancelled is $1.00 A large envelope, that is imprinted, and cancelled is $2.00 You can order these items at MAUPIN REUNION 2000, BOX 345, WHITE HALL, VA 22987.
