    3. Does anyone know anything personal (or otherwise) about George Maupin, son of Mosias? He represented Callaway County in the Missouri Legislature some time prior to 1860 and married Nancy Miller. George was born in Kentucky and died in Missouri. His oldest son was Addison B. Maupin. George was my g-g-grandfather and I'd like to know more about him. - Max Gail Maupin - Rolla, Mo. 3. Good Evening!!! Many years ago I got copies of his estate. In those papers were the guardianship papers for James H. Maupin, infant son of Jesse Maupin deceased. This Jesse was Mosias' brother that drowned on his way to Franklin County, in abt. 1819. George took James Henry to raise and at one point there was thought to be some money coming from someone estate and a bond was posted. Apparently the money never came through and a Mr. Nalley was then appointed guardian for James Henry. This is Phyllis Bauer's line. william ----- Original Message ----- From: Max Maupin <mgm148@rollanet.org> To: <MAUPIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2000 6:07 PM Subject: Re: [MAUPIN-L] Irvin/Ervin Maupin > Does anyone know anything personal (or otherwise) about George > Maupin, son of Mosias? 3. Bill: Who is this Phyllis Bauer? And is her line through James H. Maupin, or Jesse, the SON of Mosias? 3. Hi Max, I see you have a Nancy Miller in your line with the Maupin's like me. I have a Anna Miller married to Thomas L. Maupin. I was wondering if your Nancy Miller could be related to my Anna Miller like sisters. Thank you Vi Max Maupin wrote: > > Does anyone know anything personal (or otherwise) about George > Maupin, son of Mosias?
