Something that I found interesting at the reunion was this. A man who is head of the Chenault family assn (or something like that) was talking abou how the Chenaults & Mullinses always seemed to be around the Maupins. But what I found really interesting was a man who came over on the boat before the one Gabriel came on (the Nassau) was named Jean Moreau (my spelling?), and this Jean Moreau sort of helped Gabriel and was instrumental in him getting the job as keeper of the powder magazine. Is this new info, or have I just not heard it before? Denise
I believe I have my generations straight when I say: It was the immigrant Gabriel's grandson Gabriel who was Keeper of the Magazine at Williamsburg. Phyllis J.
