Rev. Johnny Wray will officiate. Flossie Maupin was born Aug. 18, 1916, in Sulphur, Okla., and died on Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at the North Shore Manor in Loveland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star no date FLOSSIE MAUPIN Funeral service for Flossie Maupin, age 86, of Loveland, Colorado, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2002, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Wray will officiate. Flossie Maupin was born, the daughter of Charlie Carothers and Sarah P. Hughes Carothers, on August 18, 1916, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. She died on December 9, 2002, in the North Shore Manor in Loveland, Colorado. She married David F. Maupin on October 5, 1940, in Grayson County, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1970. Flossie was a former resident of Verden and attended Verden School. She worked as a waitress most of her life in Loveland. Flossie enjoyed flea marketing and crocheting. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one son, Buford Maupin. Survivors include: son, Ken Maupin of Loveland, Colorado; son, Charlie Maupin of Los Angeles, California; sister, Alma Flowers of Chickasha; sister, Viola Blevins of Verden; and five grandchildren. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
