Good Evening!!! This is an abstract of the typed obit that was taken from "The Republican Banner", Owensville, MO 11-10-1905, page 7. Rev. Amos Maupin was born 4-21-1862 and died 10-10-1905. Brother Russell of Owensville, MO sisters Mrs. Malissa Leach of Weaubleau City, MO and Mrs. H. N. Stites of Grove Dale, MO. Amos died in Afton, OK and is buried in the Ofton Cemetery. I am checking to see if he has a tombstone.
