    2. Hi All: I received the below from a Maupin cousin. Please go to the URL to check out the photos of the children and their father and say a lot of prayers for the safe return of these dear little ones. Thanks, Sandi From: noordhof <[email protected]> Hello to all, The children of my husbands cousin have been kidnapped by their father, who is also wanted by the police for murdering his girlfriend in Holland, Michigan. The children are Asshley Gleeson 5 and Joshua Gleeson 3. We are hoping to find the children alive and well even though things aren't sounding to hopeful. All we can do is pray for their safe return. Instead of sending pictures to the list I am sending the website that has pictures of the children and father and all the info you need to help. Please pass this around to everyone you know. Your help is greatly appreciated. http://codeamber.org/gleeson/ Thank you Sandy [email protected]

    2. Ditto Ruth and Sandy, my parents are 76 and still married 53 years and still going strong. They live near me here in San Diego and it is such as joy to be able to share and do things with them and have them in my life. Best wishes to all for the holidays. Susan (in San Diego) descended from Thomas Maupin/Judith Cobb line.

    3. Hello Sandy: As I was reading down through this list, my eyes paused on this one: If your parents are still alive and still married ...You are very rare, even! in the United States. I just returned from a Thanksgiving weekend visit with my parents, who are both 84 and very much married (62 years). It is truly a blessing to be able to visit them and feel their love for me and the rest of our family. I know the remainder of time we have is limited, and I treasure each visit. Thank you for bringing home how rare this is, and I hope your Thanksgiving was joyful. Ruth Townsend -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, November 28, 2002 12:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [MAUPIN-L] *Count*your*blessings***Happy*Thanksgiving* If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a religious meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ... you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If your parents are still alive and still married ...You are very rare, even! in the United States. If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful ... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder ... you are blessed because you can offer healing touch. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all. A reminder to count your/our blessings! Happy Thanksgiving! ==== MAUPIN Mailing List ==== Free Web space. ANY amount. ANY subject.
