Carolyn: By the way, I'm emailing a shirttail relative who is the City Clerk for Chickasha, Grady County, Oklahoma. The City owns Rose Hill Cemetery and another, Fairlawn. She can see who bought the plot. That might give us a clue. Our Ellie might be on the right path. Sandi

Ok, of course I have to get my fingers in this..*grin* I don't know that this will help..I don't know where Camden School is (although I personally know there is a Camden, Mo. and according to this a Camden Co. which is in the same Co.)..but it does mention a Flossie Harper, and there are a some Maupins..Mary, Blanche, Charley, Brooks, Veda and Willie Maupin in the photo's...I am probably wrong..but, wasn't there a Willie Maupin in OK somewhere? I've been wrong many times before..and perhaps the dates are terribly wrong..but..if I am..where do these Maupin's listed above come in? http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jgood/schools.html Hope this helps.. Thanks William... I guess Amos started the trek to OK and other of the family followed. Apparently Melissa and Sarah went later. I think my Sarah went about 1909 and died by Jan. of 1911. After her death, my grandparents returned to MO, as did Hiram and Sarah's son Everett and daughter, Victoria. Thanks, Ellie (Stites) Swanger

Hello Cousins, I'm sorry about the messed up forum that I sent in. I was typing the French spelling which didn't come out too well. I hope this a little bit better. I used L'Archevasque, Larchevesque, and other variations. As I was looking in Rouen, Normadie, France, I found a Guillaume "William" Larcheveque married to Jeanne Alere. For a time, they lived in Dieppe, Rouen, France, which if memory serves me correctly is supposed to be a possible birth place for our Anne. They had a son named Claude Larcheveque born about 1620 in St. Avoye de Grugny, Rouen, Normandie, France and died 5 May 1659 in Quebec, Canada. This Claude married 6 Feb 1645 Marie Simon, daughter of Francois Simon and Louise Lemoine. I was wondering if this Larcheveque line could be any relation to our Anne Larchevasque, since both families were in Normandie. This is just me being curious. Once again thank you all.
