1. [MAUPIN-L] RE: 2003 Reunions

    3. The Fulton, Missouri, reunion will be held the first weekend in June. The group usually starts to gather Saturday afternoon in Kingdom City and then have supper together at either the Iron Skillet or Gaspers. The actual reunion begins about 9:00 am Sunday at the Community Center in Fulton. Loren Adams...

    1. [MAUPIN-L] Wm T. Wood m. Martha Maupin
    2. William Turner Wood married Martha Patsy Maupin, dau. of Thomas and Ann Spencer Maupin, in Alb. Co. on 12/17/1827. Does anyone know if this same William Turner Wood married at least a 2nd time to a Nancy?? At the Alb. Co. Ct. Hs. there is a will for this William Turner Wood, but no list of children given. However, in the Misc. book, there is a mention of a case; Wood vs. Clayton #1319 which is probably in Richmond, that lists the children. However, the Misc. book claims this William Turner Wood's wife is Nancy E. 3 of the children names match in the case what Dorothy has in her book. In the marriage records at the Alb. Co. Ct. House, there was a William Wood that married a Nancy Field on 4/15/1802, but this marriage would take place prior to the Maupin marriage, thus this can not be the Nancy E. listed in the Misc. paper and in Case #1319. Looking for (1) If anyone has a record of the William T. Wood that married Martha Patsy Maupin marrying at least 2 x's, one to a Nancy E. and (2) Who is the real mother to John Miller Wood m. Julia Ann Estes, parents of Joanna Alverta Wood m. Clifton Price Maupin on 9/2/1879. Thank you for your help! Brenda Clark Albemarle County, Virginia P.S. William...this revelation above has become extremely disturbing to me...This makes Martha the sister to Clifton C. Maupin m. Elizabeth Maupin, parents of Clifton Price.

    2. Thank you Carolyn. Our prayers and thoughts to families at this tragic time. And then this for your comfort too: Susan (in San Diego) High Flight by John Gillespie Magee, Jr. Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds...and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of...wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Memorandum: To America From God February 1, 2003 America, this crew you chose, is the finest in the land, And if you'll pause a moment, I will share with you my plan. The message I delivered to the crew was very clear, "This flight goes straight to Heaven, fear not, for I am near." "My children I am with you, this trip is one I've planned, Yes....this trip is something special, it's one that God will man. Heaven's Great Space Center needs some special help up there. 1. [MAUPIN-L] Check out Welcome to The Rising Moon Company
    2. I have seen the work of this company and it is awesome. They will take photos of anyone, including old family photos, and make a CD of the pictures with captions. I saw one they had made and it was a thumbnail sketch of the owner's grandpa done in pictures and it was great. She will also do restoration work on old family photos at a reasonable price. I have one I am going to get her to do for me. It was taken in the 1860's. She also did a video of my cousin's wedding in November but I haven't gotten to see it yet. Click here: Welcome to The Rising Moon Company Vicki In the river brakes of central Missouri Out going scanned by Norton Anti-Virus
