Although one of my g-grandfathers James Johnson Webb was from Orange Co., Va., he may have had Albemarle Co., connections. Hi Maupinites: I know we have several family members who descend from Lucy Jones Maupin, w/o Jesse Maupin. I have been researching MOSIAS JONES, Rev. War Patriot, and his trail to Madison Co. KY. where he died ca. 1808. Does anyone on this list have a copy of Mosias Jones' will? I would LOVE to have a copy.. happy to pay costs.. If not, does anyone know where it was filed? Hi Ellie, It would probably be in Clay County, Manchester, KY. I was down there last summer but did not know there were several places to go. At the main place, courthouse, they have many books you can search through. They are well organized. You may want to contact Lisa at Clay County Genealogical Society. She may be able to help also.
