We are but they went mostly south of us. We live north of interstate 70 and they were south. They came across Lake of the Ozarks. One TV station reported 3 foot waves on the lake. Kinda hard to visualize. Vicki In the river brakes of central Missouri Out going scanned by Norton Anti-Virus

If we didn't have a lot of hills and mountains here in Southern California we'd have many tornadoes since we get a lot of strong winds. Sandi
Be safe, Bonnie. Susie
Here in my county, Boyd Co.,KY, we have had several days of rain/thunderstorms/wind. Some area school systems are closed today because of flooding. There were tornadoes in western KY. yesterday. Madge Maupin Haney Ashland, KY

Here in Rolla MO we've spent the last two nights in the basement with our radio and lanterns. No problems. It got pretty scary tonight - add to that we had water in the basement and we're tired of these storms. Len and I hurt in places we didn't know we had! LOL Each day is a new adventure in pain. =) Anyway, we'll move this Thursday so I'll be off the net tomorrow or Wednesday. Say a prayer! Love, Sandi

Russ and I live in the old "Maupin" farm in Obion County, TN. Was very scary last night. Our son lives in Weakley Co., TN which is about 17 miles from here. He went through the worst of it...after it hit...power lines down to check out his kids who were visiting their other grandparents for the night. Tornado did a lot of damage, all around us. This old farm house is 93 yrs. old and has gone through a LOT of tornados hitting here so I knew it would be ok. BUT...scary!!! Thanks for asking. Susie Maupin Descendant
