Joe, I have James Vessels (ca.1779-after 1860) and Eleanor Mattingly (ca.1786-ca.1860) married 11-9-1808 Washington County, Kentucky. I also have that James was the son of a senior James Vessels and that Eleanor was a daughter of Hessina Hinton and Joseph Mattingly. I further have that per the 1810 US Census, James being age 26-45 and Eleanor being age 16-26, with son under age 10, were residing in Washington County, Kentucky. And, according to the 1860 US Census, James being age 76 and Eleanor being age 74, were residing Meade County, Kentucky
