    1. Re: [MATTINGLY] Monroe Mattingly/Loretta KY
    2. William R Mattingly
    3. Lori, glad to see you still around. I can't offer much help but I do have a Stiles Monroe Mattingly born 10-11-1881 to 9-2-1933 and the son of Cyprian Mattingly and Mary E. Harris. This is a lost line for me (and apparently others) as this Cyprian was a son of John Reece Mattingly and Elizabeth Rhodes. I had thought that Reece was a son of George Austin and Ann Nancy Johnson but this appears to not be so. Search as I may, as have many others, I can't seem to put John Reece in his proper place. Because of the name Cyprian, it seems he ought to be related somehow to Dr. Cyprian P. Mattingly but no connection has been found yet. Dr. Cyprian was a son of William Mattingly and Henrietta Buckman but no son named John R. has surfaced. Hopefully someone with more skill will take notice. I don't have a wife's name for Stiles Monroe but he apparently had a son with the same name. ******************* >I am looking for a Monroe Mattingly who had a large farm in Loretta KY.
