Judith: Just considering this one; we think of William C. Mattingly, born about 1807, as a son of Leonard Mattingly and Nancy Cissell although I don't think we have any substantial proof at this time. William C. mattingly and Teresa Girten's daughter, Helena Elaine was married to Leo J. Braddock. William C. had two sons which might fit the Leonard and William mentioned: Charles William 1847 and Leonard L. 1845. William C. had received land from his father-in-law didn't he?
