    1. Re: [MATTINGLY] Food for Mattingly
    2. Judith: Thanks Judith. As I have indicated on a couple of recent occasions, I have, up to now, had no idea of who the parents were of William C. Mattingly who married Teresa Gertin. But my next point would be that William C. son of Leonard Jr. does not appear to be the right candidate. I have a note, that I cannot document at this time, that William C. son of Leonard Jr married a daughter of Joe Monarch. I also have that they had a son James Allen Mattingly b 1858 born 1858 in McLean County, KY. This latter does not make sense in that William C. was likely born circa 1805 [give or take 5 years] and having a child in 1858 does not make sense. Can't we find another spot for William C. that married Teresa Gertin??? We hashed Martin Sr's family over on the forum a year or so ago, especially relating to Martin Srs son John C. Can't we find another place for William and Teresa to fit into the Mattingly picture. I have never had him there and find it hard to place him there. However, Libers and folios can change my mind real quick like, Thanks for the additional info - and I didn't realize this was your family line.
