I believe that I may have read something on this list recently about Mattinglys in Allegany County, MD. Is there someone researching them? I'm still trying to find my elusive John Mattingly and wife....John being the son of John Mattingly and Ann Carbery Mattingly. I note that Allegany County is just north of the Hampshire/Hardy County area of WVA. According to obit and death certificate information, my great grandfather, Thomas Joseph Mattingly was born in Moorefield, VA which is in Hardy County. Thanks so much!
