Hi Bill, The Bolling/Bowling Family Association has been doing DNA testing for genealogical purposes for 2 years now and it is FANTASTIC. My uncle (a Bowling male) participated in the testing along with a friend from Charles Co, MD who is also a Bowling. The test proved we had a common ancestor and that tells us we are on the right track in our research. It's great. They've identified 8 distinct groups of Bolling/Bowling, etc. I've sent an email to Larry Bolling who heads our BFA DNA program and asked him to direct you to some info so you can read up on it. I think it's a great scientific advance for us genealogists! Shirley
