I found another Mattingly mention in the St. Joseph Baptism Records that seem to confirm that the William Mattingly listed as the father of Matthew, Margaret and Hannah and husband of Mary is the son of Henry as William has asserted. Early Baptism Records of St. Joseph's Near Somerset (1818-1834) 1832 Sept. 11: David Nicholas Logsdon, of David Logsdon and Anna Mattingly; sponsors Ambrose Hayden and Ann Durbin -- J. V. Bullock In my file I have that this Anna Mattingly is the daughter of Henry Mattingly & Honor Durbin, and sister of William Mattingly and that she married David Logsdon. I printed out the complete transcriptions for 1818-1834 and it runs to 26 pages. A lot of data there. Judith ----- Original Message ----- From: "William R.
