Hi Sandi ! That is a different Charles Mattingly, born before 1785 as he married Elizaeth McPherson in 1810. Pat posted this will some time ago. JB The will of John McPherson of Nelson Co. KY which was filed Sept. 1845 in Washington Co. KY (will book G page 160) lists: wife- Elizabeth children-Catherine Cecil, William McPherson, Elizabeth Mattingly, Mildred McPherson and Margaret McPherson.
