Betty and William, My Dad doesn't know that much about Uncle Fred's family other than Uncle Fred's sister, Margaret, married my Grandmother Aline's half-brother, Uncle Robert. Uncle Robert lived in Indianapolis, IN for many years. So Robert Mattingly would have been a son of James Edward Mattingly and his first wife (whose name I can't remember and will have to look up and get back with you on). James Edward Mattingly would have been a descendent of Joseph and Hessina Mattingly. My Mom and Dad went to a Mattingly family reunion in Indianapolis several years ago that was for the children of James Edward and his 3 wives. The reunion was held at the farm of one of Robert Mattingly's sons.
