Looking at old notes I noticed one son of John Baptist Mattingly and Grace Brewer was James Barton. I've just found Grace Barton born 30 Aug. 1656, daughter of William Barton Jr. This isn't the wife of John Baptist Mattingly, but I think she is a mother or aunt to the Grace we have been looking for. Grace was not a common name, she had to be named for this Grace. And the James Barton ties them together too. Still looking! I have a lot of Brewer info saved. Norma >>
