Just in case anyone has been interested in this Raymond Allen Mattingly thing, I'm happy to say that I "believe" we've discovered the lineage as below. I am still looking for additional evidence that this is a correct connection and would invite any comments. *********** Thomas, II born about 1650 also married an Elizabeth. Ignatius, Sr. 1704 married Sarah (?). Leonard, Sr. 1739 married Mary Hayden. Leonard, Jr. 1764 married Dorothy Thompson. Cornelius 1831 married Julia Quinn (went to Indiana). Leonard 1858 married Mary A. Corbett (Leonard born Indiana but apparently returned to Ky. I find "two men" Leonard I. and Leonard G. both married to a Mary A. with a daughter named Olla in Breckenridge, Co., Ky. during the 1880 census). Likely went to Oklahoma as I find the grave site of a L. E. Mattingly 1858 to 1928 at Randolph Cemetery, Maysville, Garvin County, Ok.) William Alvin 1893 married Anna T. Groden (dau of William Henry Groden and Catherine Mary Feehan). W. A. apparently born in Okalahoma. William and Anna are buried at the Calcary Catholic Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
